Asheville's River Arts District -- aka the RAD -- only gets hotter, especially with the new development in its southern tier that has seen rise to Pink Dog Creative and other multi-use artists' buildings. The busy biannual stroll can be conducted by foot or trolley. Plan to spend at least a few hours to soak up all the sights -- the RAD is home to more than 165 working artists -- as well as the smells and tastes (the area is also renowned for its trendy bistros). |
