Paula Benton and Mary Adams of Cocoon Interior Design in Brevard have been serving up stylish design expertise to clients throughout the Southeast for over 30 years. And while most of their clients depend on full-service design support, they recognized an underserved niche that could benefit from more limited professional help.

That’s where iCocoon comes in — it’s an exciting new venture that combines the benefits of their custom design service with the wallet-friendliness and creative freedom of do-it-yourself. The iCocoon experience offers the expertise minus the expense of an onsite designer.

This alternative approach to interior design gives you as much or as little assistance as you like with four different design packages. Get a simple one-hour consultation or a luxury custom room design… all with the support of interior designers through the touch of a button.

For example, if you’re seeking a room design, you’ll answer a few questions about your preferences and will need to provide photos and measurements of the room. The designers will provide complete recommendations including fabric swatches, paint samples, a floor plan, specifications and purchasing resources.

“We can literally work anywhere in the world, which is appealing to us because we can work with different design sensibilities,” says Mary. “That’s what intrigues us about this. There’s no borders. No limitations.”

“Designers without borders,” Paula laughs.

A recent iCocoon project involved the creation of a modern kitchen for a 1920s bungalow in Portland, Oregon. But you don’t have to live across the country to take advantage of their tech savvy service... it’s available to anyone with Internet access and a design challenge.
