High-profile summer exhibit and conference will shed light on art glass

Accented by Biltmore Estate's July 1-Oct. 23 display of 45 Tiffany lamps from the definitive Neustadt Collection, the American Glass Guild will holds its annual conference in Asheville July 21-24. North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue and Asheville Mayor Terry Bellamy have accordingly proclaimed July to be “Stained Glass Month.” Four days of related conferences and workshops will be offered, ranging from preservation techniques to digital innovations, at Asheville’s Crowne Plaza Resort.
