Newly expanded outdoor section helps sets tone for Asheville Home Builders Association showcase
The upcoming Home & Garden Expo sponsored by the Asheville Home Builders Association nails the trends with "green" construction initiatives, an emphasis on local vendors (130 in all) and a vast new outdoors section sown to the tastes of WNC's enthusiastic, influential gardening population.
But a national face never hurts a regional event, and thanks to two appearances by the DIY Channel's charismatic Jason Cameron, Expo attendees can add a celebrity autograph to their pergola blueprints. Cameron hosts "Man Caves" and "Desperate Landscapes," and will visit the VIP Builder Preview on April 15 and on the first official day of the event, April 16, to give demonstrations and advice.
