Ambiance’s new showroom is a living example of the best kind of recycling, historic preservation and green practices. The walls are painted with Benjamin Moore Aura, which has very low VOC numbers. Faucets and lavatories came from the Preservation Society tag sale and the mosaic for the kitchen backsplashes was created from broken, cracked and chipped porcelains. Their primary upholstery supplier, Lee Industries, uses sustainable and renewable resources in all their products. Their new catalog is printed with soy ink on recycled paper. Their philosophy: “If it’s good, and can be re-used, we use it”. That’s green.
